A provider built around consistency, not scale
Celestial Care was founded by residential practitioners who believed young people deserve smaller homes, steadier teams and adults who do not give up on them when things get hard.
Who we are
We provide children's residential care for young people aged 8 to 17, including those with experience of trauma, disrupted placements and complex emotional needs. Celestial Care is committed to providing safe, high-quality, child-centred care. We are working towards Ofsted registration and have developed our home, policies, procedures and care practices to meet the high standards expected of children's residential services in England.
Every home has a home manager, a deputy and a core staff group who stay with the child in their care over time. Nova House is a single-occupancy home, caring for one child or young person at a time. We do not use agency staff, because a child who has been let down repeatedly does not need another rotating cast of adults.
Our commitment
We commit to placement stability above all else. That means accepting referrals only where we are confident we can hold the placement, and it means staying when a young person tests whether we will.
We commit to advocating loudly for the young people in our care — with schools, health services and, when necessary, with the local authorities who place with us.
And we commit to honesty. Our reports say what is not working as clearly as what is, because a commissioner who is surprised by bad news has been badly served.
Our young person helps shape their home — choosing décor and meals, setting house agreements, sitting on interview panels for new staff and feeding into our quality reviews.

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care
Fifteen years in residential childcare, including seven years as a deputy and manager in children's homes.
Responsible Individual
Director of Operations
Accountable for the quality of care across all Celestial Care homes, with a background in local authority children's services.
Designated Safeguarding Lead
Head of Safeguarding & Quality
Oversees safeguarding practice, independent visits and quality of care reviews, notifications and multi-agency escalation across the organisation.
